Norway's SolstadFarstad has continued to trim its fleet of excess tonnage with the sale of a laid-up platform supply vessel.
Its Farstad Marine unit has offloaded the 4,700-dwt Far Service (built 1995), it said.
The buyer was not revealed, but the ship was delivered on Tuesday. A price was not given.
Analysts at Arctic Securities said: "We view the sale as positive as we argue the vessel was non-core and old, and it has been laid up for the past months."
