It said the 162,397-dwt Miltiadis M II (built 2006) has secured 11 months of work with Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex).
The rate for this vessel has jumped from $28,000 per day to $33,000.
Miltiadis M II will start its new charter this month.
In another deal, Petrobras has hired the 47,834-dwt chemical/product carrier Avax (built 2007) for three years at $15,400 daily.
The vessel is currently earning $14,750 per day under its time charter with Capital Maritime and will begin its new contract at the end of April.
