Belgium’s Euronav has found a buyer for the world’s biggest tanker, for a handy gain.
The New York and Brussels-listed owner continued its fleet renewal with the disposal of the 441,600-dwt ULCC Europe (built 2002) to unnamed interests.
The vessel is debt-free after 18 years under Euronav ownership, and the deal will generate a profit of $34.7m.
