Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry has won a tanker order from Russia's Firefinch Investment.
The Zhenjiang yard said the products/chemical carrier will cost $10.5m.
It is currently building another tanker and two anchor-handlers.
Russia's Firefinch was formed in 2004 and specialised in coastal tankers in northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea and the Baltic Sea.
It has been building two similar ships at Yangzhou Haichuan Shipyard.
