A Russian-owned tanker has arrived in Cuba with the first known shipment of the country’s oil since Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.

The 114,000-dwt Suvorovsky Prospect (built 2011) is loaded with about 612,000 barrels of Urals crude from Russia’s Ust-Luga port on June 23, according to commodity and analytics firm Kpler.

The Liberia-flagged ship is owned by a unit of Sovcomflot, according to VesselsValue.
