Swedish owner Laurin Maritime has fixed the 46,000-dwt tanker Maetiga (built 2009) on time charter from GNMTC.
The Libyan-controlled tanker has been contracted for up to six months at $12,750 per day.
Over the last year Maetiga has been earning $17,500 per day.
Laurin has a fleet of 19 MR tankers in a combination of owned and chartered tonnage.
