The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has arrested the crews of two Indonesian tugboats that showed up in the Johor River and tried to tow away a Vietnamese product tanker previously accused of delivering an illicit cargo to North Korea.

Johor's maritime director, First Admiral Nurul Hizam bin Zakaria, said the tugboats were detained on Wednesday evening while attempting to haul Viet Trust Shipping's 5,000-dwt tanker Viet Tin 01 out of the river.
