Chinese owner Ningbo Marine has made a play for tanker business with a new domestic order.
Brokers said the company has contracted a 10,000-dwt product carrier due in July 2020.
AVIC Dingheng is building the ship, but no price was given for the contract.
The Zhejiang Energy-controlled owner has an operational fleet of 41 vessels.
This mostly consists of bulkers and general cargoships, but also includes a ferry and a tug.
