All four crew members kidnapped from a Greek product tanker off Ghana have been released on Thursday after more than a month as hostages.

Evangelos Marinakis-backed Capital Ship Management said in a statement that the seafarers from the 38,000-dwt Agisilaos (built 2006) are safe and will undergo medical checks.

They were abducted by gunmen on 29 November, 75 nautical miles (139 km) south of Lome in Togo.
