Scorpio Bulkers' plan to declare a special dividend of shares in Scorpio Tankers appears to have taken equities analysts by surprise.
That much was clear but, aside from the New York-listed company's bullishness about Scorpio Tankers' (STNG) stock price, its third-quarter earnings call was packed with teasers but few firm details about its future strategy.
As its president, Robert Bugbee, put it at one point: "We have to keep everyone guessing".
