Shipping players should work with a “whitelist” of price cap-compliant companies involved in Russian oil trades to avoid being hit with sanctions, according to countries behind the scheme.
New guidance issued by countries including the US, UK and European Union says companies should be confident they can track transparent Russian oil flows from loading port to final destination before they embark on deals for price-capped oil.
