Taiwanese container giant Evergreen has sold three 12-year-old 4,229-teu boxships to a Japanese investment fund headed up by Dainichi Invest Corp.
The Ever Royal , Ever Right and Ever Round (all built 1993) will be chartered back by Evergreen but no details of the price or charter levels are available.
The vessels will remain assigned to Evergreen's AUE Asia-to-US East Coast service, according to French broking analyst BRS-Alphaliner, but will be renamed the Sun Road , Sun Right and Sun Round , respectively.
