The ship is among the oldest in the company’s fleet, although there are others built earlier including the sistership Vinni (built 1994). Both were built at Russia’s Baltic Shipyard and bought in 1994 for $25m en bloc.
NOCC also has two 1987-built car carriers and one constructed in 1991.
On the tanker side, Meiji Shipping of Japan has sold the 265,000-dwt TM Harmony (built 1996) for demoltion in Pakistan.
