Inge C Paulsen, chief executive of Norwegian hull stress monitoring specialist Light Structures, believes market conditions may be gradually improving.
“I think we are changing into a more positive mode,” he told TradeWinds during Nor-Shipping. “That will probably fuel more inventions, and hopefully we will see more venture capital coming into the business.”
He acknowledges the market for standard commercial vessels will remain slow for another year.
