Japan's MOL is teaming up with MSC for a new boxship run from Brazil.
A new partnership has been formed to enhance MOL's service for the Amazon trade.
The CX1 loop will add a weekly string from Manaus to the Panamanian hub of Manzanillo.
"The schedule reliability of the service will also be improved," MOL said.
The first sailing will be on 19 January.
