Thailand has become the latest Asian country to ban the import of certain e-waste and plastics for recycling.
“The Port Authority of Thailand has announced the suspension of discharge of import containers of plastic scrap, electronic waste and hazardous waste until further notice,” Hapag-Lloyd said in a recent circular.
