A five-year agreement has been reached with the US owner, which operates Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
The deal now covers eight cruiseships which have 35 Wartsila engines on board.
The two companies will work together to "ensure maximised lifetime, reduced operational costs and optimal performance of the Prestige fleet," Wartsila said.
