Yilport Holding's recent move to acquire Port of Taranto's container terminal has received initial approval.
The Port Network Authority of the Ionian Sea (PNAIS), the port's manager, has "expressed a first positive evaluation" on the Yilport proposal, the Istanbul-based terminals operator said today.
"Yilport is enthusiastic about Taranto Container Terminal, and committed to Taranto’s rise in the port industry," said Yilport chairman Robert Yuksel Yildirim.
