The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is investigating a Singapore bulker that allegedly misdeclared the date it left China.

PCG spokesperson Armand Balilo said the 28,700-dwt Harmony Six (built 1996) arrived in the country on 23 February, claiming it had left Changzhou on 10 February, in a bid to avoid the 14-day coronavirus quarantine period.

But AIS data shows it left the port on 18 February.
