The US government expects Ukraine’s grain and wheat exports to decrease only modestly grain season, but Ukrainian shipping experts do not see a kernel of truth in its projections.
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s latest projections show coarse grain volumes from Ukraine are expected to remain elevated at 32.8m tonnes for the current 2022/2023 marketing year, which ends 1 March.
