A Moldova-flagged general cargoship has been barred from Paris MoU region ports after failing its third port state inspection in two years.
The 1,400-dwt River Pride (built 1984) spent 23 days under detention in Varna, Bulgaria, from 30 March, with 13 deficiencies, according to the Equasis database.
Faults included issues with construction, the radio and its safety manning document.
The ship, operated by River Pride Shipping & Trading of the Marshall Islands, was also held in Greece in November and Germany in January, plus Turkey in October.
