Axel Eitzen has accelerated his shipping comeback by taking over Danish owner Herning Shipping from Nordic Tankers alongside some financial partners.
Eitzen returned to the dry bulk market in 2016 and will become chief executive of Herning after sweeping up its 19 strong tanker fleet.
The sale of Herning marks the second divestment in quick succession by Triton-backed Nordic Tankers after it offloaded Crystal Nordic at the end of last year.
