The Baltic Exchange is considering the idea of rolling out new period indices for LNG carriers.
On a webinar, Matthew Cox, the Baltic’s head of benchmark production, said the exchange is currently looking at an LNG period assessment for six months, one year and three years.
“We are hopefully looking at extending that out to five and 10 years,” he said.
