Final offers are due within weeks from companies pre-qualified to supply one or more floating storage and regasification units for Lebanon.
Bidders have been given an extra two weeks to submit technical and commercial offers for what could be up to three units, with the deadline extended until 21 November.
In June, the Ministry of Energy and Water, which is handling the project through its Lebanon Oil Installations directorate, published the names of 13 companies and consortia that have been pre-qualified to offer in on the FSRUs.
