One of Sinokor Merchant Marine’s fleet of 14 LNG carriers has been reported to have gone for scrap.
Shipbrokers' weekly reports list the 122,000-cbm East Energy (built 1976) as sold to India for green recycling at a price of $425 per ldt.
If confirmed, the price on the 30,993-ldt membrane-type vessel, which is the former LNG Port Harcourt, equates to around $13.2m
