Following the latest series of attacks on small commercial vessels off Somalia, there is one question looking for an answer within the shipping industry. Is Somali piracy re-emerging?
There have been four attacks reported in Somali waters in less than a month.
It began with the hijacking of the 1,800-dwt Aris 13 (built 1991) and more raids followed on an Indian cargo vessel, a fishing trawler and a Pakistani ship.
