CMA CGM CEO Rodolphe Saade is accompanying French prime minister Edouard Philippe on an official visit to China this month.
The pair will board the 14,414-teu CMA CGM T Roosevelt (built 2017) during its call at Yangshan on Saturday.
"CMA CGM Group is in fact among the main French companies present in China due to its historical foothold and many partnerships signed with Chinese companies," it said.
