Algeria is in advanced LNG supply talks with a number of Asian countries.
The exporter is hoping to firm up long-term contracts, according to Bloomberg.
“We have been approached by several Asian countries, including India, Pakistan, South Korea and Japan, for the supply of LNG,” said senior adviser to the energy minister Ali Hached.
He added that the talks are going well, with agreements expected soon.
