John Fredriksen’s Golden Ocean is this morning hunting for a new CFO after Geir Karlsen surprisingly quit the company.
It is not immediately clear why Karlsen has resigned but Golden Ocean chief Herman Billung insists there has been no fallout.
Billung said: “He has been with the organization for quite a few years and it appears he would like to do something new with his life.”
