India’s Great Eastern Shipping has revealed an MR product tanker purchase after it was linked to a deal for an Ardmore Shipping vessel.
The Mumbai-listed shipowner said it has contracted to buy a 50,000-dwt clean product carrier built in 2010 for an undisclosed price.
The ship will join the fleet by the end of the first quarter of its financial year beginning in April.
