The JJ Ugland group is preparing to dispose of some of its oldest bulkers.

TradeWinds understands that prospective buyers have already inspected the Tsuneishi Shipbuilding-constructed, 52,300-dwt Tamarita (built 2001).

The Tamarita is the oldest bulker in the fleet, which includes sistership Fermita (built 2001). The duo, which were probably worth about $3m each in early 2016, could fetch at least $8m apiece today.
