Fukujin Kisen of Japan has returned to South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries group with an order for MR tanker newbuildings.
The Japanese tonnage provider has signed up with subsidiary Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) for two 50,000-dwt product tankers.
HMD sister company Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard in Vietnam has been tasked with constructing the duo and is slated to deliver one vessel in November 2020 and the other in January 2021.
