Analysts at Clarksons Platou have come out with a strongly positive overview of shipping - and tankers in particular - as the effects of IMO 2020 disruption become more apparent.
In their latest Navigator report, Frode Morkedal, Omar Nokta, Erik Hovi and Henriette Vevstad said: "It's go time."
Despite worrying times in the Middle East Gulf and continuing trade wars, they said markets are at a pivotal point and the outlook is promising with consistent trade growth and limited newbuilding deliveries on the horizon.
