Polish LNG importer Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG) has issued a formal invitation to tender to shortlisted shipowners.
After an earlier pre-qualification exercise, companies have been asked to make offers to provide two firm LNG carriers, either newbuildings or existing ships. But PGNiG’s requirement is believed to extend to up to eight vessels, based on the volumes of LNG it has bought.
