An accident on a Berge Bulk handysize bulker that saw two crewmembers hospitalized was due to shortcuts taken by the crew, an accident report has found.
The incident occurred during cargo hold cleaning aboard the 34,500-dwt Berge Daisetsu (built 2015) while alongside in Portland, Australia in January 2018.
