Containership owners are continuing to take advantage of hot markets to readjust their fleets.

Oslo-listed Borealis Finance said it has paid $20m for Torvald Klaveness' 2,546-teu Bardu (built 2014), which has been renamed Ravel.

TradeWinds reported in February that this was one of two Klaveness boxships sold for $18m each.

Since the deal was agreed, the ship has risen in value to $24m, according to valuation platform VesselsValue.
