Nordic American Tankers (NAT) is poised to close the sale of its last two ships built in the 1990s.
New York-listed NAT announced earlier this month the 147,262-dwt Nordic Aurora and the 147,888-dwt Nordic Sprite (both built 1999) were being sold.
Today it told investors the sales are now in the process of being finalised, with the buyer paying 30% of the $10m-per-tanker price.
