Fred Olsen Energy (FOE) has seen its loss grow in the third quarter as revenue fell due to rig stacking.

The company posted a net deficit of $45.7m, versus $33.9m in 2016.

Revenue was $76.3m, against $213.6m the year before.

The offshore fleet consists of three ultra-deepwater or deepwater units and four harsh-environment semi-submersible drilling units.

It has smart-stacked four of these in order to preserve the units ready for new contracts.
