Five fishermen have been killed and six more are missing after a collision between an Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) containership and a fishing boat near the Ecuador-Peru border.
Both countries' navies and coast guards were continuing to look for the men after the accident involving the 13,102-teu MSC Regulus (built 2012) on Saturday, Ecuadorian authorities said
Twelve fishermen were rescued and five bodies have been recovered after the Ecuadorian boat Gerardo II capsized.
