South Korea’s Kukje Maritime Investment Corp (Kmarin) has signed up for two more VLOC newbuildings at Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry.
Shipbuilding players said the 325,000-dwt ore carriers are options that Kmarin held at the state-owned shipyard.
Kmarin signed up for two vessels at the Chinese shipbuilder in August.
