Hellenic Tankers can now celebrate a successful VLCC asset play after quickly flipping a tanker to Nathalin Group.
TradeWinds reported last week that Hellenic was set to sell the 298,000-dwt VL Sakura (built 2001) for $24m.
Brokers had been reluctant to accept the stellar pricing until the subjects were lifted and that barrier was cleared on Wednesday, TradeWinds is told.
