Chinese and Indian firms led the way in VLCC spot fixtures for the first half of the year, Poten & Partners says.
The latest league table rankings from Poten researcher Erik Broekhuizen showed Asian oil majors moving up in the total number of spot tanker fixtures for the first half of 2017.
Unipec's lead in spot VLCC fixtures actually grew relative to last year, with some 285 fixtures reported, 32 more than the same time last year.
