Sources claim the Koyo-built, 68,000-dwt Riga (built 2001) is going to Econav of Greece for $11m.
The long-range-one (LR1) unit is due for its next special survey in March 2016.
It is one of three 2001-built sisterships that Lasco purchased from the Tsakos group of Greece in 2001 for $42m.
The sale would also see Lasco with a fleet of just 16 vessels, down from 36 units five years ago.
