Talk of small-scale LNG is becoming more prevalent as developers seek creative ways to tap new markets, and with the first projects now a reality, there has been an explosion of new concepts and solutions.
As one specialist broker told TradeWinds: “It is no longer acceptable to go and visit people and talk about the conventional shipping market without including a section on floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs) and a section on small-scale because basically everyone is trying to figure out how to go further downstream.”
